The Arlington High School boys' soccer team defeated Horace Greeley 1-0 in overtime in the Section 1 Class AA championship game played on Arlington's field on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009 in Freedom Plains, N.Y. The victory moved Arlington on to the Class AA New York State Public High School Athletic Association tournament.
